Frequently Asked Questions
What is required to secure my date?
A non-refundable, non-transferable retainer and signed contract are required to secure your wedding date.
Where/when is the trial?
Trials are typically held Wed-Fri (weekends are reserved for weddings) at my studio in Fort Walton Beach about 2 months before the wedding
Do you travel? Is my location out of your range?
YES and absolutely not!! Travel is primarily what we do actually! The travel fee will be assessed from the artists' home to your location. We do not have a limit although we do have a policy that any locations more than 2 hours away may require overnight accommodation.
Can I add more services later?
Yes based off availability. Each artist can accommodate a max of 6-8 services depending on the artist and time frame.
What does my makeup application include?
Our artists provide everything needed for your application, using professional and luxury products. Some of these may be pro-only brands you might not recognize (they’re not sold in regular stores), but rest assured — they’re chosen for performance and longevity. For hygiene and liability reasons, we cannot use products supplied by clients unless they are brand new and unopened. For a glimpse into what’s in our kit, visit the Hair & Makeup page on our website. Keep in mind that kits vary slightly by artist and are always evolving.
What does my hair styling include?
Your artist will arrive fully equipped with all the tools and products needed. Hair styling includes: One heat application (curling or flat ironing) Any pinning required to achieve your chosen style Professional styling products (note: root color touch-ups must be provided by the client) Braids and detailing as requested Placement of accessories or extensions you provide One completed style (time does not allow for multiple style changes) Please note: Blow-drying is not included unless it has been prearranged in advance.
Can I do a trial before I book?
Absolutely! If you’d like a trial before securing your wedding date, simply complete the bridal inquiry form and follow the brochure process as usual. Just note in the comments (or send a quick email) that you’d prefer to have a trial before finalizing your booking.
